Normally before reading a book or novel, we will look for a synopsis of the novel or at least a little spoiler from a friend so that we are interested in buying and reading it. After a novel is finished, there must be satisfaction in itself. Whether it's happiness if it ends happily or we get carried away feeling sad because the main character experiences a tragic, which is a sad ending.
But... what if the novel that we have read to the end, we know what the plot is like, even though many details of the story are certainly forgotten, we reread it from the beginning?
Melo, Manis's coworker at the office. Past. Before they both decided to resign with their time not long ago. Melo, who left first, turned out to have got a new job. Its so so good. Meanwhile, Manis left because she to stick her minded which were not in accordance with the management and work environment.
Not long after his resignation, Manis received an offer to rejoin the office. With the lure there is a new scheme as well as a management restructuring. Sounds great. But Manis couldn't understand how he could "try to be tricked" with all available job offers, even though Manis knows the ins and outs of the company. Struggles and hard considerations for Manis to be "free" why does she have to hurt herself a second time?
With full of cliché reasons, Manis refused the offer to return.
Some time passed, Manis heard if Melo was offered to rejoin. Manis had expectations, maybe it was more to guess that Melo would definitely refuse. He should have thought the same as Manis.
Melo says if he was offered better, why not?
Melo's meaning of "better" is quite ambiguous. But Manis still thinks that it's impossible for Melo to come back. That's not his passion, that's for sure.
But today Manis found out. Melo will be back soon at the appointed time. Back to that environment, where he could even make more work and money with his potential if he was in a possibly "better" place. But "better" everyone has a different point of view. Happy reading the novel twice, Melo.
From Melo I either see, feel or just an illusion. If Melo will last quite a long time in the office. Get carried away and find it hard to be yourself again. Melo did not find his speciality in the previous place. He is equal to average. Or maybe it's not even visible at all. Makes his ego hurt a little.
"I can't stand out, the money I make doesn't cover my lifestyle if I'm there." Maybe that's what he thought.
Melo, if he returns to his old office, he is offered perhaps more money. With everything he can handle. He felt different from the others. Better maybe.
But Melo, your value will decrease. You don't even realize how much you've been underestimated more than before. Well, good job Melo!
